Due to the significant elevation gain, gravel biking here is physically demanding but technically mostly of medium difficulty – ideal for anyone who appreciates long climbs and varied routes.
Along the routes, traditional alpine dairies invite you to enjoy a refreshing break, whilst the Lesachtal, one of Europe’s most unspoilt valleys, delights with little traffic and a pristine cultural landscape. Lake Weissensee completes the experience as a tranquil natural playground and an ideal starting point for tours between water and mountains.
Historical traces of the First World War lend many trails additional depth – today they are quiet, peaceful routes for unhurried, mindful gravel biking in one of the most unspoilt regions of the Alps.
